Isn't life a series of beautiful frames stitched together? We cannot pause the flow of life around us, but we sure can seize and capture the moment. That's the beauty of photography - preserving the moment for times to come.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Indeed! Every person who looks at a picture weaves his or her own story around the picture. We want you to tell us a story. Tell us a story using your camera. We want you to weave a story around your frames.

Rules:

• What is a Photo Essay? - A series of pictures stitched together in a video around a central theme, with or without a narration, background music or caption.
• Your photo essay has to be on one of the following themes:
  

  

  
• You can submit more than one entry but only one entry per theme.
• Each photo essay has to have a minimum of 5 photographs and a maximum of 15.
• All the photographs used must be clicked by you. You cannot use 3rd party photographs for any part of your photo essay.
• You can add narration or captions to your video.
• You can add copyright free music to your video. You may want to use the following sites for finding copyright free music: www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music/2, www.purple-planet.com
• Your photo essays cannot have a play duration of more than 2 minutes.
• The photo essay should use the photographs to tell a story based on one of the above themes.
• Entries will be evaluated based on the creative quotient and the quality of the end product.
• Entries that merely stitch the pictures together, without telling a story relevant to one of the above themes will be disqualified.
