D Johar is endowed with a distinctive voice and a resilient spirit. Besides his singing and performing career, he is a prolific songwriter, composer, music producer, disc jockey, bibliophile.
Born Diljeet Singh Johar in Ghaziabad - India, D Johar had a natural inclination to dance, his mother was quick to spot and nurture his talent. He began performing on stage at the age of 4 and became involved in hip-hop during the late '90s, performing at house parties and clubs at his hometown.
For nearly five years, he has produced music under various stage names for upcoming and
new artists. Though his first single was "Chal Daru Peetein Hai" for which he also lent the music, he considers "Aag Lagaye" as his debut as a singer.
