About me

I have been a dance instructor to celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Neha Dhupia, Sunny Leone, Nikhil Chinnapa, Sonal Chauhan, Evelyn Sharma, Badshah and Raaxtar.
Appointed as an assistant choreographer for Ashish Chaudhary on Jhalak Dikhlaja Reloaded (2015) Season 8.
Selected as an assistant choreographer to renowned choreographers like Peter Farell and Italo elgueta
Performed with the 'Nagada' choreographer Arsh and Sameer Tanna from Ramleela for 'Varnam' folk dance show for 2 consecutive years.
I also started a dance company called urmila thakkar choreography in the year 2014 and have classes and workshops all over Mumbai.

Developed teaching skills while training students at Shaimak Davar workshops conducted in numerous cities throughout India
Performed at a variety of award functions including IIFa, Zee Cine Awards, Filmfare awards etc.
Delegated to train dancers and perform in Melbourne, Australia for the closing ceremony of The Common Wealth games in 2006
Demonstrated organizational and creative management skills by playing the role of stage producer
Designed costumes for performers keeping in mind the dance form and the performance.
Displayed ability to teach and dance by training actors and choreographing their dance performances, which is judged by the renowned actor, Anupam Kher.
Have choreographed various music videos for MTV, TVF and add films for brands like Dabur miswak, Amul to name a few.
