I was pressurized by parents for getting trained in Hindustani classical music, but then I didn't know the value of the intricacies of music which got embedded in me during my learning phase. I had always a liking towards country, pop and alternative rock music. And, subconsciously though, my learning in Hindustani classical music has led me open up my voice and have good control.
