About me

I am a Mumbai-based actor, theater-maker, and Kathak dancer. I started doing theatre in 2015, during my engineering days in Pune. There, I acted in over ten plays, representing my college at some prestigious intercollegiate competitions. I have also co-written and directed some of them.
I took part in some intensive acting workshops, undertook research projects, and worked with eminent theatre personalities such as NSD director Aniruddha Khutwad, actors Alok Rajwade, and Abhay Mahajan.
Subsequently, to explore my reel side on screen, I acted in the short film 'Its OK' directed by Vivek Suradkar which was selected for an official screening at the Pune International Short Film Festival and featured in The Indian Express among the 'Top 10 Marathi Short Films to Watch'.
To hone my craft and receive formal training, I joined Drama School Mumbai (DSM) for their PG in Acting and Theatre Making program. I developed an affinity for physical theatre during this course, which kept me up with being an active yoga and movement practitioner. After graduating from Drama School Mumbai, I am now working as an actor, dancer and assistant director for various plays with NCPA, Khoj Theatre and others. I wish to delve deeper and explore myself as an actor in both stage and screen mediums.

Played the character of Pooja in the short film 'It's Ok' directed by Vivek Suradkar. It got featured in TheIndianExpress amongst 'Top 10 short films to watch'. Also officially screened at International Short Film Festival Pune 2018
