Suraj is a talented singer & entertainer who is inspired by the Lt. Legend Mohammad Rafi and the super versatile Sonu Nigam. Suraj had never thought he will take up professional singing as his career. A software degree holder & MBA, he worked with reputed companies like WIPRO, HSBC & HCL but his heart always followed his only passion - MUSIC. He began singing with his father's troupe at the age of six. From then on, Suraj accompanied his father on his singing appearances at weddings, concerts and parties. Suraj, just trained for one year, always had the positive spirit to make his listeners amazed through his versatile vocals and charming personality. With Music in his genes, son of a well known artist and a public figure like his father Dev Das (Popularly known as the MUKESH OF ODISHA) who always wanted Suraj to follow his footsteps and become a singer, He used all these factors to his advantage. All he had was raw talent and the passion to be a musician. He was courageous enough to sing in the voice and style of the great Rafi saab and Sonu Nigam (his idols), without giving an ear to his detractors. Many believe that the courage and passion he displayed in his songs at various stage shows became the foundation of his success which still continues. As Suraj himself believes that he is just a learner and this is just a start/beginning and there is still a lot to come and yet to be achieved. A dream to make it big in Bollywood Industry some day, he has developed rapidly as a stylist concert artist with his father and also proved that he is an electrifying performer through his concerts, which grew in demand across the state and cities.
