Sandeep Bhardwaj

Hi,My Name is Sandeep Bhardwaj,30.I was born in Pune and brought up in Hyderabad.
Before I started Acting I worked as an Animator in a gaming company and was pretty much happy with the way things were going on in my life until one day my office colleague forcefully took me to watch a theatre show.My idea about theatre was very vague since I grew up watching Mythological and Musical plays which I found very boring and unrealistic.But I had no idea that my whole idea about theatre was going to change and I was mind blown after watching this play called Domnic Wesley.This play really shook me as I never had an idea that watching a play could give me such an exciting experience.It was not only interesting and entertaining but it was also realistic.
That very day I spoke to the director of that show Ratna Shekar reddy Sir and joined his 3 month Acting workshop.
During this course I realised that Acting is opening up several hidden dimensions of my life.

As a kid I never had a say in what I want,What I like or dislike and was forced to just except things the way they are and I had no control on how my life should be.I just took instructions and lived my life.
All those years all my feeling emotions kept piling up inside me and when I Acted all those emotions bursted out like a lava.On stage while Acting I could express myself to the fullest and no one would question or judge me.Within no time my confident was skyrocketing and I didn’t even realise when I changed into a person who was filled with energy, Confidence and was charged up all the time.

Shekar Sir also gave me a chance to audition for a Ad film and luckily I got selected.Over there I found out that Screen Acting was much more interesting as it had many technical sides to it and as an Actor there was always a second chance,Since you could always go for another take if you were not satisfied.I spoke to Shekar about how I find Screen Acting more interesting and I had a different level of comfort in front of the Camera.He advised me to apply for FTII since they had specialisation in Screen Acting.I applied for FTII in 2015 and got selected after clearing 8 different rounds which included written exam,Audition,Improvisation,Movement,Screen test,Monologue,Film reviewing and Final Interview.
After completing my 2 years P.G Diploma course in Acting I moved to Mumbai and did several projects with Netflix,Disney Hotstar,AHA and currently working with Amazon prime (movie).
I have done Web series like Bahubali(Before the beginning)
SHE,Out of love(Season 2),Thulsivanam and Anya
I have also done a Netflix film called Upstarts and have done Ads with Kelloggs,Mahindra and Priya gold.

To be a better Actor we need to be a better Human being and live life to the fullest.
