Ankit Rawat

Ankit rawat is a freelancer filmmaker; a director, editor, production sound recorder and
also an actor. He started his filmmaking journey being an actor in his friend’s short Action MOS film,
The Bleeders (2011) after that he acted more in a couple of shorts. In 2014, he and his friends made a
short movie for a 101 hour challenge for Yes Bank where they were nominated for Peoples’ choice award. Ankit graduated in Bachelor of Journalism in 2014 and later on Feb 2015, he entered the Diploma Program in Filmmaking at International Academy Of Film and Television Cebu, where he has written and directed three short films: Thirst, Saccharine, and Galit na Aso (Mad Dog). His movie Galit na aso won Best Actor award and most Popular movie Award in “International Film festival of Manhattan New York” 2017, it also got screened in Slemani International film festival (IRAQ) 2017 .On Jan. 2016 (after graduating on Nov 2015), he worked at Fashion One for two months as a Production assistant and Production sound for two (2) Reality TV shows, The Campaign and No Gray Skies. He came back to the same company on May 2016 as a Production Assistant, Production Sound and Editor for Design Genius London, Design Genius LA, Design Genius Antwerp, and The Campaign for 6 months. This year, he did videography for theatre festival Navras, directed and edited short M.O.S film, HOLI and now, editing a small web series, Crossroads. He Also worked As Assistant Director For Short movie “ A-7” Directed by Award winning editor Rahul Srivastava.
