Soham Kundu

Soham Kundu is an Indian classical vocalist based in Kolkata, deeply engaged with the Hindustani classical tradition. His musical training continues under the guidance of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, one of the foremost vocalists of the Patiala gharana.

Soham is a scholar of Shrutinandan, the renowned institution founded by Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty dedicated to nurturing Indian classical music. He has also been selected as a scholar at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, where he continues to refine his musical journey within a rigorous artistic environment.
His repertoire spans khayal, thumri, ghazal, and semi-classical forms, with a strong emphasis on lyrical meaning, raga aesthetics, and emotional depth. Alongside his musical pursuits, Soham actively documents and presents classical music through digital platforms, exploring ways to connect traditional repertoire with contemporary listeners while maintaining its authentic spirit.
