About me

Naman was classically trained in Tabla since age 4. Thanks to a rock’n’roll loving household, he build a connoisseurs taste of the Woodstock era, with special focus on Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Deep Purple, The Who, Joe Cocker, Rare Earth, and Cream.

A multi-instrumentalist (Drums, Tabla & other percussions), Naman has seen both the rhythm and melody side of compositions.

Naman currently plays with ‘Jive Can’ a 5 piece blues act, ‘The Grovesmen’ an upcoming rock’n’roll trio and ‘Moongphali’ – a Bolly-Rock project. He has played live sessions for multiple English and Hindi bands, including renound coke studio artist Saurav Moni.

Moongphali

Moongphali is a 4-piece Bollywood-Rock project based out of Delhi. The band plays crowd-favorites in their own pleasing styles. Naman actively works as one of the founding members of the band and the percussionist as well.

Jive Can is Delhi's Newest Blues act, out to bring the house down with its unique style and energy. Naman is the band's founding member and drummer. Apart from assisting the members fix grooves and rhythm to songs, he also takes care of the band' stage-setup and sound balancing.
