Sanjay is a trained classical singer who has six strenuous years of classical training behind him under Shri Aniruddha Pandey from KIRANA GHARANA. He also has an engaging six years classical degree & diploma in vocals from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. Sanjay’s power packed performance also has another angle- his ability to play the guitar flawlessly and serenade audience with his "unplugged" performances.
Sanjay has achieved independently in commercial ventures and shared the stage with star performers like Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet Sawant, Amit Sana, Kailash Kher and many more... He has performed in numerous genres vis-a-vis Hindi, English, Retro, Classical, Semi classical, Rock, Peppy, Sufi, Bollywood, Ghazals, Folk, Romantic, Jazz & Blues and many more...
To begin with Sanjay topped all charts in the university and inter-university music competitions during college days. Later he ranked amongst the top contestants in ‘Indian Idol-IV’, top 14 from Delhi in ‘Mtv Rock-On’, top 6 in MH1 ‘Awaaz Punjab di’ and received tremendous appreciation as a episodic contestant of ‘Killer Karaoke’ on &TV and much more.
