About me

I have worked in Theatre, Puppetry and Film in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi, Kerala & Mumbai since 2012 in varied workspaces as a Performer, Trainer and in Direction, Production, Art and Management departments in several projects.

I drew inspiration as a performer and artist by training in Acting, Voice, Dramaturgy, Physical Theatre, Kalaripayattu, Puppet Theatre, Bhutoh Dance in workshops conducted by Theatre du Soliel, Union Internationale de la Marionnette (UNIMA, India), Maya Tangeberg Grischin, Anmol Vellani, Adam Koan, Katkatha Puppet Arts & many others.

In 2016 I was awarded an Honorable Mention for Best Performance at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles in critically acclaimed short film 'Leeches'.
In the pursuit of meaning and magic through my work, I started 'The Kachra Collective', an independent and collaborative arts practice in April, 2019.
