Srijit Basu was born in Calcutta in 1986. Growing up his interests were poetry, cinema, music and sports . He studied Cinematography in the prestigious Film & Television Institute of Pune . His student film Prabhat Nagari won the best student cinematographer of the year by Fujifilm in 2012 .
Based out of Mumbai over the last decade Srijit Basu has worked in multiple award winning commercials , short films , feature films, documentaries & web series . He is a member of Western Indian Cinematographers Association (WICA).
