AK Studio was established by Mr. Kedar Athavale, with a vision to be one of the best audio- video recording & editing studios.
Right from his childhood, Kedar has been very active in theater & allied arts. During his college days, he got fascinated towards the art of recording.
He acted in the marathi film ‘Dahavi pha,’ directed by senior director Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukathankar. He has won several prizes in a number of drama competitions including the well-known ‘Purushottam Karandak’ and ‘Firodiya Karandak’ for direction and acting. Soon, He realized the need and scope for quality recording. After completing his M.Com, he did a certificate course in 'Sound Recording' from the Music Department of Bombay University. His core area of work is sound designing. His interest and experience in acting, has helped him, establish, voice dubbing courses, which have become a successful part of AK studio. With the help of these dubbing courses, AK studio has built a team of 150 voice dubbing artists and 50 voice over artists.
Being an artist by heart, Kedar is keen on giving best quality services with no compromises. Now, after seven years, AK has come up with a full-fledged production house and 3 additional studios in the same vicinity.
AK studio has now achieved valuable guidance of industry’s well- known and respected senior veteran actor Mr. Vikram Gokhale, as its official studio partner. His valuable guidance has given a strength to our wings to take a high flight towards achieving our goals!

Voice Over :-
A Voice-over (also known as off-camera or off-stage commentary) is a production technique, where a voice—that is not part of the narrative (non-diegetic)—is used in a radio, television production, filmmaking, theatre, or other presentations. The voice-over may be spoken by someone who appears elsewhere in the production or by a specialist voice actor. It is pre-recorded and placed over the top of a film or video and commonly used in documentaries or news reports to explain information.
Voice Dubbing :-
Voice Dubbing is a post-production process used in filmmaking and video production, in which additional or supplementary recordings are ‘mixed’ with original production sound, to create the finished soundtrack. After sound editors edit and prepare all the necessary tracks, the dubbing mixer or mixers proceed to balance all of the elements and record the finished soundtrack.
Jingle Recordings :-
A Jingle is a short tune used in advertising and for other commercial uses. The jingle contains one or more hooks and meaning that explicitly promote the product being advertised, usually through the use of one or more advertising slogans. They can also be used in non-advertising contexts to establish or maintain a brand image. Jingles are a form of sound branding.
Musical Album Recordings :-
An album is a musical recording originally in a gramophone or vinyl format, then in other formats such as Compact Cassette, Compact disc, and increasingly in digital format such as MP3. When supplied with compact discs they are known as CD booklets.
Western Band Recordings :-
Western swing music is a subgenre of American country music that originated in the late 1920s in the West and South among the region's Western string bands. It is dance music, often with an up-tempo beat, which attracted huge crowds to dance halls and clubs in Texas, Oklahoma and California during the 1930s and 40s. The movement was an outgrowth of jazz, and similarities with Gypsy jazz are often noted. The music is an amalgamation of rural, cowboy, polka, folk, Dixiel and jazz and blues blended with swing; and played by a hot string band often augmented with drums, saxophones, pianos and, notably, the steel guitar. The electrically amplified stringed instruments, especially the steel guitar, give the music a distinctive sound.
Classical Songs Recordings :-
Indian classical music is the art music of the Indian subcontinent. The origins of Indian classical music can be found in the Vedas, which are the oldest scriptures in the Hindu tradition. The Samaveda was derived from the Rigveda so that its hymns could be sung as Samagana. These hymns were sung by Udgatar priests at sacrifices in which the Soma ritual drink, clarified and mixed with milk and other ingredients, was offered in libation to various deities. This chanting style evolved into jatis and eventually into ragas. Indian classical music has also been significantly influenced by, or syncretised with, Indian folk music. Bharat's Natyashastra was the first treatise laying down fundamental principles of dance, music, and drama.
