My name is Akanksha Bhardwaj. Here's a little bit about me.

Roobaroo Theatre Group (Delhi), Rangshila Theatre Group (Mumbai), Freelance acting association with various theatre groups over a period of 7 years, 28 productions and over 125 shows .

I also run a theatre group under which I have written and directed several plays and have trained actors too.

I teach improvisation and direct plays for Kreating Characters Acting Academy.

Hobbies:

Besides acting, I enjoy writing, reading, dancing and painting.

I find my solace in reading and writing poetry.

I have been training as a Kathak dancer for the past 2 years.

Meeting new people, learning about their experiences interests me a lot and I feel it has helped me a lot as a person and in my craft, as an actor and as a writer.

Love happens to be my favorite subject, not just romantic love. But, love, in general. For people, for things, for nature, for one's passion, for one's own self - for everything that is a part of this beautiful, wonderful world that we are all a part of. Love is the essence of our being and as an artist, I think, that's the kind of stories I want to be a part of. Where the characters are deeply, madly and passionately in love with something or someone.

Ofcourse, something that appeals to the masses and at the same time, individuals, something experimental, something that challenges me and makes me push my limits is something I strive to work towards, everyday.
