learning : From childhood initially from my father Mr. Ranjan Ganguly , then from 2004 onwards
till now pursuing my training in Indian classical ,light music & voice modulation from
my guruji Shri Mihir Mukherjee (from Rampur Shezwan & Indore Gharana).
I have been singing since childhood, a genetic gift got inherited from my father
who was a very talented singer of his time and was professionally into it, and I shall be
grateful and obliged to him forever to have introduced me at a very early age to proper
music theoretically and practically also to the greatness and the legacy of the Great
Mohammad Rafi Sahab, the versatile genius who is my idol and main source of
inspiration forever ,also other legends like Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar,
Asha Bhosle etc. Since from that time by listening to these icons of music and legendary
composers I started upgrading the artist in myself. I began training and now I have
evolved as a professional singer & musician and music is my ultimate passion devotion
worship and main profession. I have been performing in India and abroad for many
years now, I am a versatile singer comfortable with most forms of music and try my best
to do justice to as many genres of music and to the various types of songs I perform,
thanks to my guruji Shri Mihir Mukherjee, who is teaching me Indian classical, light music
and proper voice modulation training for more than 7 years now and I am evolving
gradually into a more trained and polished singer each day. Apart from being a vocalist,
I am also professionally into music compositions for films , have already done jingles for national
television, scored music in movies, have many ready
compositions too, in addition to this I am capable of doing musical arrangements and
music programming and sound editing. I am professionally creating karaoke sound
tracks of various types of songs for myself and many leading singers and musicians in
India and abroad for last 6 years now and also doing various musical arrangements in
my home studio setup. I am already equipped with a huge karaoke database which
gives me the advantage to choose various types and genres of songs to sing in my
shows including my co singing partner for his, her solos and our duets and this
eventually adds more entertainment value to the shows and to the audience.
2011 - 2012 Trained in Keyboard, Synthesizer instrument, also piano from
Mr. Soumen Dey and sushanta sil , Apart from that i am a teacher of indian classical music , western , piano , keyboard and raking in the 1st place in site Urban Pro in Hindustani Music Category in kolkata
